Summer Heat

This is a shoot I did in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I split the shoot into two locations choosing the lakefront first and then moving into the city.

I tried to create contrast by pairing the bright-colored dress and soft look of the model against a rough, dark-textured brick background. I felt that adding this contrast would create a complementary fusion which would allow one to notice and appreciate both elements simultaneously, thus making for me a more compelling photograph.
